[Watch] Rishabh Pant Meets Shikhar Dhawan During Training At NCA

Rishabh Pant's unfortunate accident on new year eve in December 2022 brought shockwaves around the cricketing world. Since then, lot of speculations have come up regarding his future in cricket and his comeback in the Indian team. 

The dashing wicketkeeper batter went through a surgery after that and has been recovering well since then. Recently, a news came up where it was informed that Pant would not need another surgery and is on his way to a recovery at a rapid rate.

Now, Shikhar Dhawan has posted a photo with Rishabh Pant with a caption - 

Back and Better than ever! So happy to see you again @rishabpant❤️

The photo is taken on a cricket ground with practice nets in background. Rishabh Pant actually is ruled out of the World Cup 2023 and according to the reports, he will be ready to play cricket again in January 2024.

As far as Shikhar Dhawan is concerned, he recently led Punjab Kings in IPL 2023 but is not part of the Indian setup in any format. There are very slim chances that he will play for India again but Dhawan seems to have made peace with this fact which has been evident in some of his recent interviews.

Pant though would be most probably back for India in 2024 and we can expect him to play a big role for India in future.
