We are just a day away from the most lucrative global T20 tournament, the Indian Premier League. With ten formidable outfits set to take on each other, we expect the IPL 2023 to enthral cricket fans across the globe. Numerous analysts and experts have started predicting the potential winners of the orange cap, purple cap and other awards. Meanwhile, legendary former England fast bowler Steve Harmison has named emerging star Harry Brook to bag the 'player of the tournament' award.

As quoted by India Today, the ex-Durham bowler expected Brook to hold the orange cap as well, considering his stupendous recent batting form.

Here's what Harmison stated

"I think he might start with an orange cap as well. I think Harry Brook is going to be the best player. I think he could get Player of the Tournament,

"When you're on a wave like he's on, things just seem to fall into place. Sometimes they sort of nosedive and dive-bomb, but I don't see it with Harry. The Sunrisers, I think they've done some decent business. I think Brooke could be the icing on the cake for them and he might just score the runs."

Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Brook at a whopping INR 13.25 Crores in the IPL 2023 mini-auction. The swashbuckling English batter has enjoyed stellar success in international cricket since his debut and will thus play a key role for SRH in the showpiece event.
