India A are all set to travel to England next month for an exciting tour. They will play two four-day matches against the England Lions and one match against the senior Indian squad. The matches against the England Lions are scheduled for May 30 to June 2 and June 6 to June 9. After that, they will face the senior Indian team from June 13 to June 16.The senior Indian team, which will have a new captain, is expected to be announced on May 23.

Abhimanyu Easwaran Likely to Captain India A

Reports suggest that Abhimanyu Easwaran will be named captain of the India A team. Easwaran, a top-order batsman from Bengal, is currently not playing in the IPL, which means he has time to focus on leading the team. 

The IPL is expected to run until the end of May or early June, but since Easwaran is not part of it, he can start preparations early.

The BCCI is expected to announce the final squad soon. Along with Easwaran, the team is likely to include players like Karun Nair, Tanush Kotian, Baba Indrajith, and Akash Deep. 

Additionally, wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel and all-rounder Nitish Reddy might also make it to the squad. However, there is no confirmation yet on whether Ishan Kishan  and Shreyas Iyer will be part of the team.

It is important to note that the updated schedule will potentially impact the India A tour of England 2025.
