In a significant development, England have announced their men's squads for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies. The team, led by captain Harry Brook, will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 matches. The ODI series kicks off on Wednesday, May 29, at Edgbaston.
Liam Dawson Returns To T20I Squad
England all-rounder Liam Dawson, aged 35, has been recalled to the T20I squad. Dawson recently extended his contract with Hampshire for three more years and has had two outstanding seasons, especially in the County Championship.
The last time he played for England was in an ODI series against Australia in November 2022. So far, he has earned 20 international caps, with 11 of them in T20s.
Tom Hartley Joins the ODI Squad
Lancashire spinner Tom Hartley is also part of the ODI squad. His most recent appearance in this format was against Ireland in September 2023.
Notably, star batting all-rounder Will Jacks has been included in both the ODI and T20 squads, marking his return to the England team. He was last seen in action in the IPL 2025.
