The India's Test squad for the all-important five-match Test series in England is likely to be announced soon, and there would be some big changes in the squad. The two legends, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired while the bowling group might also see some changes. Amidst all these speculations, Rohit Juglan, a reporter for RevSportz has revealed that Arshdeep Singh will be included in India's squad for England tour.

Arshdeep Singh's County Experience Likely To Go In His Favour For England Series

Arshdeep Singh has been a consistent performer for India in the shortest format of the game, and was also part of the victorious Champions Trophy campaign. Arshdeep Singh has also done well in red-ball cricket in recent times and grabbed attention with a nine-wicket haul in the Duleep Trophy game. Also, Punjab pacer's experience of playing County cricket in England is likely to go in his favour during selection.

Overall, the bowler has 66 wickets in 37 first-class innings with two five-wicket hauls and one four-fer. The conditions in England are also likely to help his style of bowling as he can swing the ball both ways at a decent speed. Arshdeep's selection is likely to be at the cost of Harshit Rana who could not impress on the tour of Australia.

Harshit Rana is likely to play for India A while Mohammed Shami's selection continues to be doubtful due to fitness concerns. Rohit Juglan has also stated that Rishabh Pant will be the vice-captain of the side with numerous reports suggesting that Shubman Gill is all set to be named as India's permanent Test captain. Jasprit Bumrah who led India in two matches during the Australia tour would not take leadership role keeping in mind his workload management.
