Last evening, India suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of hosts South Africa in the Women's T20I Tr-Nation series final.

With the ICC Women's T20 World Cup just a week away, all eyes were on skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who was attended by the medical staff on several occasions.

The physio was seen tending to Kaur's left shoulder, for which she also went off the field for a while.

During the post-match presentation, Kaur said that she needed some rest and would be fully fit for the global event starting February 10.

The 33-year-old also talked about India's performance in the final, where a tough pitch, coupled with South Africa's Chloe Tryon on-slaught, handed the visitors a five-wicket loss.

"Body is fine. It will take two, three days and it will get better with rest. You have to enjoy yourself whatever the situation and we did that. Plenty of positives in the series, we didn’t get over the line but our bowlers bowled very well."

India are drawn in Group B alongside Pakistan, England, West Indies, and Ireland. The 2020 finalists begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on February 12.
