A total of two matches will take place on Monday, January 30th in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Let’s take a quick preview of the two exciting contests ahead.

Match 29: Dhaka Dominators vs Rangpur Riders

Dhaka Dominator started the tournament with a win but failed miserably after that, losing each of their next six games. However, they won their last game and are now placed at the bottom of the league standings with two wins in eight games. 

They are already out of the knockouts race but with recently regaining their winning form, Nasir Hossain and his men can spoil any party.

On the other hand, Rangpur Riders must be high on confidence coming into this fixture as they beat a strong Sylhet Strikers side in their last outing and quite convincingly. 

Overall, they have had an unsteady tournament so far, winning four out of seven games. As a result they are currently fourth in the points table and will be looking to sustain the winning form with knockout place on the line.

Match 30: Khulna Tigers vs Sylhet Strikers

Sylhet Strikers are enjoying a solid season as they are currently sitting at the top of the table with fourteen points. They have won seven of the nine games they played. 

They had a rare bad day with the bat against Rangpur but came back well to regain their winning form in their last outing. With the tournament moving towards the knockouts’ stage, Mashrafe Mortaza will be hoping his side to continue the winning momentum and finish the league stage on a high.

On the other side, Khulna Tigers are struggling to keep themselves alive in the knockout race, having managed only two wins out of their seven outings. Yasir Ali’s men could not get a good start, losing each of their first three games. 

However, they came back well, winning two consecutive games but failed to sustain the winning form. They are placed fifth in the points table and will need some miracles to change things towards their side.
