On Sunday, Australia completed a series white-wash as they thrashed West Indies by 419 runs in the second Test match of the 2-match series.

Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne were the stars for the home side. Both the batters completed their respective centuries and laid a strong foundation for the Aussie bowlers.

Head was named the Player of the Match for scoring 213 runs combined in the Test match, and it included a stunning 175 in the first innings.

In the post-match presentation, Head was delighted with his performance and also lauded his partner in crime Marnus Labuschagne and the entire Aussie team.

Head speaks

"I'll take 175 after missing out by one run last week. But it has been amazing. Look forward for 10-15 years and tell others what I did. I let him do his things (on Marnus) and he let me do mine. I knew he would hold his ground there, so it was comfortable.

He added: "Credit to them for being so consistent (on four batters ahead of him in pecking order). The coaching staff and Cummins have been supportive, which is nice."

After a thumping victory, Australia have their set their eyes on the visiting South African team. The 3-match Test series commences from December 17.
