Bangladesh Legends will be up against New Zealand Legends in the 8th match of the Road Safety T20 World Series 2022, set to take place at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore on Saturday, September 17. 

Bangladesh Legends have had a dismal start to their tournament campaign as they lost their opening fixture against West Indies Legends by 6 wickets. 

Opting to bat, Bangladesh Legends were bowled out for just 98 runs, that too on the batting-friendly surface of Geen Park in Kanpur. West Indies Legends, in reply, overhauled the target in just 15.2 overs.

New Zealand Legends, on the other hand, have also lost their opening game against South Africa Legends by nine wickets. 

Batting first, the Kiwis could add just 99 runs in the first inning, which South Africa Legends overwhelmed without breaking a sweat. 

Both the teams will look to open their winning account in the tournament when they lock horns with each other on Saturday at Indore.

• Ross Taylor: He failed to provide a good start to his team in the opening encounter but given the experience the New Zealander brings to the table, we can back him to come good in this fixture.  
• Alok Kapali: He gave an impactful performance with both bat and ball against West Indies Legends. While with the willow, he added 19 runs at a strike rate of 95, with the ball he picked up one wicket at an economy of 8.57.
• Dhiman Ghosh: The wicketkeeper-batter was the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh against West Indies Legends. He scored 22 runs off 27 balls and remained unbeaten to help his team score 98 runs while batting first.
