Recently, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) saw several key players — Trent Boult, Colin de Granddhome, and James Neesham — opt out of their central contracts to participate in various T20 leagues around the world.

Boult's partner in crime on the field for many years, Tim Southee, talked about how he sees his future with NZC ahead of the third and final ODI against India

As per Stuff. co.NZ, Southee said that players are thinking of such possibilities but for him, it is a long way off. The 33-year-old also expressed his desire to play all three formats as long as possible.

Here's what Southee said

"I haven’t looked too far ahead, to be honest. There’s enough cricket to come in the coming months to worry about before having to look too far ahead, but it’s something all players are trying to stay with and think about in the moving landscape of the game,

"The body feels pretty good at the moment, so as long as you can still handle juggling all three and still being able to perform at the level you need to at this level. I love playing all three formats, so hopefully can do that for a wee while longer."

Meanwhile, New Zealand will lock horns with India in the final ODI of the three-match series in Christchurch on Wednesday.
