ICC Women's Player of the Month nominees for October announced

ICC 'Player of the Month' nominees have been announced for the month of October 2022. A total of three Asian players have been nominated. 


Jemimah Rodrigues (India)

Jemimah Rodrigues was nominated for the honour after her stellar performance in the Women's Asia Cup 2022, she scored a total of 217 runs at an average of 54.25 during the tournament. With high scores of 78 and 75*. She won the 'Player of the Match' in both the matches and drove team India to tournament victory.


Nida Dar (Pakistan)

Pakistan's all-rounder Nida Dar has been nominated for the honour after her brilliant performance in the Asia Cup 2022. She racked up 145 runs in 6 matches at an average of 72.50 and scalped 8 wickets at 14.87 runs a piece. 

She displayed an all-round performance against India where she scored a brilliant 56* while also scalping a figure of 2/23. 


Deepti Sharma (India)

Indian all-rounder has also been nominated for the 'Player of the Month' award. She played 8 matches in the Asia Cup last month where she claimed 13 wickets at the average of 7.69, including one of her best figures of 3/7 an d 3/27.
