A dominant Team India will be facing Sri Lanka Women in the final of the ongoing Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2022 in Sylhet.

Prior to the knockouts, the ‘Women in Blue’ finished at the top of the points table, having secured five wins out of their six matches. Their lone defeat came against the Pakistan Women. Notably, they launched their Asia Cup 2022 campaign with an emphatic win over Sri Lanka in their tournament opener.

Sri Lanka Women, on the other hand, lifted themselves up after their opening defeat to India. They registered five wins out of their subsequent six fixtures, including a thrilling one run win over Pakistan in the semi-final.

• Inoka Ranaweera has collected 12 wickets after playing seven Asia Cup 2022 matches for Sri Lanka. She is currently the second highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
