Fans Slam Adidas Over Team India’s Expensive Jersey Prices

Adidas recently penned a five-year deal with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as Team India’s kit sponsor. The sporting giants unveiled their new jersey designs earlier this month, showcasing Indian team’s new kits for all formats.

While the newly launched kits created much interest among fans on social media, a legion of Indian cricket lovers also expressed their dissatisfaction over prices listed by Adidas on their official website.

On Adidas’ official website, the prices of India’s new Test, ODI and T20I jerseys are listed at ₹4999 each. Meanwhile, the cost of ODI replica jersey is ₹2999 and ODI fan jersey is priced ₹999.

Several fans have expressed their displeasure over the prices, with some believing it to be too high for their comfort. While some of them have taken sarcastic jibes over Adidas, others have stated that they would rather wait for a bootleg version in a street market.

Meanwhile, Team India will now be seen donning their new Test jersey in the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.
