In a significant development, contrary to earlier reports, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals won't be replaying their IPL 2025 match that was halted mid-way on May 8 due to security threat. According to a report from News 18, both teams are set to share a point and the league will be resumed with RCB taking on LSG.

Notably, the match between PBKS and DC at the Dharamsala Stadium on May 8, was suspended midway through because of the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. It also led to the league being suspended for a week.

The report also mentioned that once the IPL resumes, Delhi and Punjab will not be hosting more games.

“Most likely the matches will be held at four venues, and Delhi and Dharamsala won’t get to host more matches. All the equipment has already been removed from these venues," the source added.
