India are all set to play their second WTC final on 7th of June against Australia at the Kennington Oval, London. The whole Indian team has arrived in UK now after a gruelling IPL 2023 and are seen sweating it out in training ahead of the all-important WTC final.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper also was involved in an intense training session on Thursday, 1st of June at the Arundel Castle Cricket Stadium down south from London as Kennington Oval is currently occupied for the WTC preparations. Rohit was as usual in a jolly mood but had an injury scare while practicing.

Thankfully for all Indian fans, there was nothing serious and Rohit batted for almost 90 minutes after that injury scare and looked solid and compact. Other Indian players, like Virat Kohli were also seen sweating it out in the middle and Team India looks all pumped up as they set their eyes on the ultimate glory of the purest form of cricket.

These training sessions are pretty important for India as most of the players were playing T20 cricket for almost two months and need to adjust their game now to the format that will test their skills and patience more than anything else.

Aussies, on the other hand, look better prepared than India for the big game. Many of their players were playing county cricket and had a good rest while the Indians were busy playing the 16th edition of the IPL. Also, India beat Australia in a home series by a 2-1 margin before the IPL and have enjoyed back-to-back series wins in Australia in recent times.

So, it remains to be seen how things pan out when both teams meet at a neutral venue and a lot will depend on how Indian batters go about their business against the Australian pace attack.
