Yash Thakur Makes his Way into LSG XI After Stoinis Mayhem

The pitches at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow have been pretty difficult for the batters in IPL 2023 and before the LSG-MI game, there was lot of talk about the pitch. However, Stoinis showed that he is a special talent and took the pitch completely out of the equation as he smashed MI bowlers all over the park on his way to 89 off 47 balls.

His batting special took LSG to 177 and now as LSG try to defend that total in front of a powerful MI batting line-up, Yash Thakur has been brought in as an Impact Player in place of Prerak Mankad. Yash Thakur has bowled well for LSG this season and would be looking to show his value in this high-octane game against MI.

Yash Thakur has picked 6 wickets in IPL 2023 so far and has displayed good variations. At the time of writing, MI are 58-0 at the end of the Powerplay with Yash Thakur bowling two overs for 22 runs.

Krunal Pandya has also walked off the field due to an injury and LSG have their task cut out now if they want to win this game.
