Making his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) back in 2018, and now, scoring his first century in the league against the same opposition, Shubman Gill has seen a lot in the last five years but he certainly believes that life has come to a full circle.

The right-handed stylish batter from Punjab has been the star performer for Gujarat Titans (GT) and more importantly for India in international cricket where he is known to open the batting and provide solid starts to his side.

Taking just 56 balls for his hundred in this game, Gill smacked 13 fours and a six taking the Titans to 188. In return, SRH could not cross 154 as they lost the match by a hefty margin of 34 runs as Mohit Sharma and Mohd Shami picked four wickets each.

Speaking about his knock, Shubman seemed quite satisfied with his knock as he picked six against his statemate Abhishek Sharma as the best of his innings.

"I made my IPL debut against SRH and got my first hundred against them, so life has come a full circle. Hopefully, many more to come. It's all about the bowlers and situation and I don't dwell much on my last innings. It is important to focus on the situation in front. The six off Abhishek Sharma was the most pleasing thing for me. I told him that if you bowl to me I'm gonna hit you for a six."

After this victory, GT have confirmed their Qualifier 1 spot but before that, they would be facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the final group stage game on 21st May.
