Nathan Lyon, the off-spinner of the Australia cricket team, has expressed his opinion that England's 'Bazball' approach only works when their opponents become nervous and make mistakes. He has advised his teammates to stay composed in England's aggressive batting during the upcoming Ashes series.

Under the leadership of captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon 'Baz' McCullum, England has been victorious in 10 out of their last 12 Tests.

In an interview with the Australian Associated Press, Lyon said:

“You look at the way they played against New Zealand, South Africa and Pakistan, they have been able to force the opposition into panicking. We just have to worry about us. Control what we can control and worry about what is in our backyard and not be worried about what they’re doing. If we make sure we have really good plans and stick to them, everything will go okay."

According to him, the Australian cricket team should concentrate on executing their own game strategy and prevent the batting collapses that had a negative impact on their tour of India earlier this year. He emphasized the importance of staying focused and not getting distracted by the opposition's style of play during the upcoming Ashes series against England.

“We shouldn’t panic anyway. We panicked in India and we saw what happened. If we can learn from that experience and play our way and our brand it will be okay. We have to worry about us. We will be really well planned … I think we will be in really good shape."

Nathan Lyon, who has been a part of the Australian cricket team for the past six Ashes series, winning three and drawing one, will once again be a key player in Australia's quest to retain the Ashes urn for the fourth consecutive time.

The series is set to commence on June 16 at Edgbaston, and Lyon's experience and expertise will be crucial in helping Australia achieve their objective.
