Rohit Sharma and his pick-up shot on the leg side is a sight to watch. The Mumbai Indians skipper is strong on the pads and hardly misses out on deliveries targeted towards his pads.
In the ongoing IPL match against the Gujarat Titans, Rohit played one of those mesmerising shot that even made his wife, Ritika Sajdeh smile.
The incident occurred when Rohit was facing Mohit Sharma. The GT speedster pitched the ball on the middle and leg and missed his line completely. With only two fielder outside the circle, Rohit took the risk and played a delightful pick-up shot over the deep square leg boundary.
The shot was sweetly timed and it went miles into the stands as Rohit's wife, Ritika couldn't control her smile and admired her husband's audacious shot.
Talking about the match, Rohit and Ishan Kishan gave a free-flowing start to the Mumbai Indians. They added 61 runs for the opening wicket inside the power-play, but the joy was short-lived as Rashid wreaked havoc and dismissed both the openers.
At the time of writing, MI are 97 for 3, with Suryakumar Yadav at the crease.
