Playing at their home ground, Delhi Capitals (DC) did an amazing job to finish the match without any hiccups courtesy of a powerful innings from Phil Salt who recorded his second Indian Premier League (IPL) half-century against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to power his side to victory by seven wickets.

DC's skipper David Warner seemed mightily impressed by his team who did an incredible job with the bat especially Salt who took on Mohd Siraj which actually was their plan to take on the opposition's best bowler as they forced him to pull his length back.

"Amazing. I thought it was a par score, the ball was skidding. But the way we came out led by Phil Salt paved the way. Our intention was to take on Siraj, he's been bowling well and taking wickets early. His wickets have been bowled or LBW so we wanted to drag his length back,"

Warner then commented that their bowling department has started to deliver and it is a big positive for them going further in the tournament.

"Credit to the way the bowlers bowled, Anrich is not there but Ishant is leading the pack with Khaleel. And Kuldeep and Axar as well have been brilliant. It is all about momentum, we are finding the right balance at the right time. Now we go to Chennai and try to get a performance there, I know it will be tough."

In the end, the Southpaw concluded by mentioning about their next challenge which is against Chennai Super Kings on 10th May at Chepauk.
