Indian head coach, Rahul Dravid, who has been at the helm of the Indian cricket team for approximately 16 months, has performed meritoriously. Apart from the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup's inadvertent mishaps, Dravid has efficaciously fulfilled most of his responsibilities as India's head coach.

India's head coach has never been reticent in heaping praise on his players, and Indian wicketkeeper-batter, Dinesh Karthik, recently recounted an instance of Dravid's effusive praise for Bhuvneshwar Kumar during a team meeting.

Karthik, on Cricbuzz Plus, disclosed that Dravid spoke effusively about Bhuvneshwar for five minutes at the outset of a team meeting, emphasizing his significant contributions to Indian cricket.

Bhuvneshwar’s meteoric rise in Indian cricket is widely known, having burst onto the scene with a three-wicket haul against Pakistan on his T20I debut. He soon established himself as a vital player across all formats, but injuries hampered his Test ambitions and forced him to concentrate on white-ball cricket.

The right-arm pacer, who is still an essential part of India's white-ball plans at the age of 33, has produced a string of noteworthy performances since his return from injury.

Karthik expressed his admiration for Dravid's gesture, noting that despite people's tendency to focus on battership, Bhuvneshwar has consistently performed well as a bowler for both country and franchise.
