In what was a dead-rubber, the difference between the two sides was there for everyone to see as India drubbed the West Indies, winning the sixth match of the Women's T20I Tri-Series by eight wickets.

India's bowlers choke West Indies

Opting to bowl first, India pounced on the West Indies right from the start as Deepti Sharma took two wickets in consecutive deliveries in the fourth over to give Hayley Matthews and Co. early jitters.

Skipper Matthews played her part well as she tried to bail the Windies out of trouble with her 34-run knock. However, Pooja Vastrakar had other intentions in mind, sending Matthews back to the pavilion.

Zaida James crept throughout her 31-ball 21 with her unbeaten knock doing more damage than good to her team, taking West Indies to just 94/6 in 20 overs.

Rodrigues, Kaur drives India home safely

Although Smriti Mandhana fell early on in the run-chase and was followed by Harleen Deol, Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur helped India romp home without breaking a sweat.

The duo stood as the best batters of the day as their 54-run partnership gave India an eight-wicket victory in the 14th over.

While India will go on to the final of the series versus South Africa, the West Indies failed to win even one of their four matches
