ENG vs SA, Match 1: Top Five Picks

  1. Quinton de Kock (SA): The South African wicketkeeper has been in a good touch with the bat. The hosts will be hoping that he gives them good starts in the series.
  2. Dawid Malan (ENG): The left-handed batter is a very stable player to have in the upper middle-order.  The English team will hope that Malan stabilises the batting at the top-order and gives them some good starts in the matches.
  3. Marco Jansen (SA): The South African all-rounder is in good touch with the bat in the recent times. Jansen's bowling has always been consistent enough, but with his new found batting abilities, he could be a hot pick for the match.
  4. Harry Brook (ENG): The top-order English batter has been spoken of very highly in the cricketing community. Harry Brook's positive batting approach and his technique makes him a great pick for the match.
  5. Jofra Archer (ENG): The English pacer has made a comeback into competitive cricket and has looked in good rhythm. Archer's spell with the new ball can be very lethal and he can definitely give some important points picking up crucial wickets at important junctures in the game.
