New Zealand's Devon Conway registered an entertaining century against Pakistan in the second ODI fixture of the historical tour.

He scored a 101 on 92 deliveries that comprised 13 boundaries and one mighty maximum to get to his second century in the format. However, with this ton, the Blackcaps opener cemented a couple of mileposts.

Playing in his 14 ODI match, the 31-year-old counter-attacked the Pakistan enterprising bowling attack throughout his innings. On the back of this performance, he became the first New Zealand opener to notch a ton in Pakistan in 47 years.

On Thursday, the southpaw surpassed legendary Glenn Turner's long-standing record, a 67 that the former cricketer scored against Pakistan in 1976.

Interestingly, Conway has become the only third New Zealander to slam an ODI century on Pakistan soil. The others on the list are Craig McMillan (105 in 2002) and Hamish Marshall (101* in 2003).

The South African-born had a prolific time in the Tests as well, where he scored 122 and 92. However, he got bowled on a golden duck in the first ODI fixture but redeemed himself with a three-figure mark.

At the time of writing, New Zealand are cruising at 196 for the loss of four wickets after 33 overs, with Kane Williamson batting at 84.
