Jordan Thompson commits his future with Yorkshire CCC

Yorkshire CCC star, Jordan Thompson has committed his future with the club after signing a two-year deal, that will keep him at the club till October 2025.

The dynamic all-rounder has become an integral part of the Yorkshire side, featuring for them since 2018.

He bursted onto the scene during the summer of 2020 in the Bob Willis Trophy and showed his prowess in all three departments.

Last season, he was Yorkshire's talisman with the ball, picking up 42 wickets at 34.73.

Thompson speaks after extension

"I'm delighted to have extended my contract with Yorkshire and I am looking forward to playing my part as we look to secure silverware in the coming years. I am determined to play my part in getting this club back to where it belongs - Division One of (County Championship)."

"On a personal note, I love playing in front of our supporters and hope that my passion to represent my county resonates with them."

In all first-class matches so far, Thompson has scalped 108 wickets at 25.54, and amassed 958 runs at 20.82.

The managing director of Yorkshire, Darren Gough is also ecstatic with the contract extension and is delighted to have secured his services.
