AUS vs WI, 2nd Test: Another West Indies pacer suffers injury; taken off the field

Injuries continue to haunt West Indies in the ongoing series against Australia. In the 2nd Test match being played at the Adelaide Oval, fast bowler Marquino Mindley was taken off the field after bowling just two overs on his debut.

Mindley arrived in Australia on Tuesday from the Caribbean and was handed his debut cap as both Jayden Seales and Kemar Roach were ruled out due to injuries.

Cricket West Indies have released a statement, stating that Marquino has been diagnosed with a right hamstring discomfort and will be taken for the scans.

As far as the Test match is concerned, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. At the time of writing, they are 89-1 at the end of the 28th over.
