India, in reply, did pretty good work with the bat getting 135 by the end of the day with skipper Rohit Sharma unbeaten on 52 while Shubman Gill is on 26. All this, after Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed another half-century. First session was shared while the next two sessions definitely went to India.

Okay, a major stat came up mentioning the amount of swing there has been on the first day of the Test match in this series and unsurprisingly, it's the highest today with 2.4 Degrees of swing on offer when compared to second highest of 0.9 Degrees in the first Test in Hyderabad. Moreover, some form of intent from the English batters now.
