Kuldeep Yadav is running a mayhem against England on Day 1 in Dharamsala, after the Ben Stokes-led team elected to bat first in the ongoing Test match. The England captain became the Indian wizard's latest victim, who bagged a legendary five-wicket haul on the very venue where he made his Test debut in 2017.
The wrist-spinner, who so far has snapped five of six English wickets fallen on a Day 1 pitch, toppled the tourists with spellbinding variation up his sleeves. Meanwhile, all his wickets were a treat to watch, but the Ben Stokes dismissal was a remember to various reasons.
Apart from that being his fifth wicket, he outbeat the English captain, who misread the length and variation. Kuldeep dished a googly at the stumps, to which Stokes on the back-foot and got trapped in front of the woods.
Ben Stokes tried challenging the decision made by Joel Wilson, however; the technology made sure India and Kuldeep get a wicket in their tally.
Apart from Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja shared three wickets between them. At the time of publishing, England are 8 down before Tea as they collapsed from 100-1 to 183-8.
