[Watch] Wayne Parnell Plucks Wicket for Siraj; Becomes Catch of the Tournament Contender
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)'s new-ball wizard Wayne Parnell grasped one of the most mesmerising catches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, letting Mohammed Siraj break the first blood against Gujarat Titans (GT) at M. Chinnaswamy on Sunday evening.
Siraj came in with a plan by testing Wriddhiman Saha with length delivery outside in the channel and kept swinging the cherry away from the right-handed batter, who never got in rhythm despite scoring a couple of boundaries.
In his second over, the star seamer bowled another hard length delivery to which the GT stumper tried dancing down the track and slicing over the man at cover-point, but Parnell, there, timed his jumped to perfection and swallowed a dream catch.

However, despite banking an earlier wicket, RCB's bowlers have lost the plot in their do-or-die clash as Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar have pulled the game in their favour.
At the time of writing, GT have got to 109-1 after 12 overs, needing 89 more runs at a required run rate of 11.13 with nine wickets in hand.
