The beautiful Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala will host its first IPL game in a decade as the Punjab Kings will take on the Delhi Capitals on May 17.
The Dharamsala stadium was under renovation and recently the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia was scheduled to take place at this stadium. However, due to the construction work, the match was shifted to Indore.
Now after such a long gap, the stadium will get the opportunity to host an IPL game.
It has been a topsy turvy tournament for the Punjab Kings, who are tottering at the 8th position in the points tally. The team is still in the race for the playoffs, but need to win their remaining games.
On the other hand, it has been a dismal tournament for the Delhi Capitals. They have only won 4 matches, and are at the last position. Moreover, they lost their last fixture against the Punjab Kings, and will be out for revenge.
But this is a new day and a new venue; so how will the weather remain during the course of the match?

The weather in Dharamsala will remain good throughout the course of the 40-overs. There were shower predictions in the afternoon, but the cloud covers will be removed once the game begins.
The average temperature will be around 25 degrees and it's going to remain cool during the match time.
