There is no stopping Shubman Gill at the moment. The Gujarat Titans batter continued his scintillating form and notched up his 5th fifty in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
The top-order batter achieved this feat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Moreover, he has also completed 500 runs in the ongoing IPL edition, and joins the likes of Faf du Plessis, and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the illustrious list.

Gill has been prolific with the bat for the defending champions. Interestingly, this is his first season, where the dashing opener has breached the 500-run mark in IPL.Gill is also the leading run-scorer for the Titans in the ongoing season.
In the ongoing IPL match, Gill started on an aggressive note and was the chief aggressor right from the word go. He smashed Fazalhaq Farooqi for four boundaries in a row and announced his intention in style. The SRH bowlers tried all permutations and combinations, but nothing worked on Gill, who has been in stupendous form throughout the season.
The 23-year-old also crossed the 1,000 run-mark for GT in the ongoing match.
At the moment, GT are 89 for 1 after 8 overs, with Gill batting at 58 off just 26 deliveries.
