The stalwart of Indian Premier League (IPL), KL Rahul has been the showman in the world's best cricketing extravaganza where he won the orange cap back in 2020. However, the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) while batting against Gujarat Titans (GT) achieved the milestone of 7,000 runs in his T20 career that began in 2013.

The Karnataka-born made his debut in the IPL during the 2016 season for SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) where his career only moved upwards as he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and now, LSG.

His maiden domestic game was against Goa for Karnataka in the same year with his Syed Mushtaq Ali debut coming almost a month before his IPL debut.

Furthermore, the right-hander has been a prolific run scorer for Indian side as well where he has taken on the best of the opposition. In 72 international games, he has thumped 2265 runs at a strike rate of almost 140.

On the other hand, his IPL runs are over 4000 where has has averaged around 47.60.
