In a significant development, there are reports that KKR have made it clear that their 20-year-old budding cricketer Angkrish Raghuvanshi is not for sale. The rumour mill started following reports of Sanju Samson's potential trade to the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Notably, RR captain Sanju Samson is looking for a way out of the Royals and has asked to be traded before IPL 2026. Notably, CSK and KKR were the two options, and despite CSK's initial interest, the latter is looking like the frontrunners to land Samson's trade deal.

KKR Plan Big For Angkrish Raghuvanshi

However, it is reported that the Royals aren't interested in an all-cash deal and have reportedly asked for two players from KKR, which includes 20-year-old Raghuvanshi, who was among the few positives for the Men in Purple during IPL 2025.

In the latest events, according to a report from Subhayan Chakaraborty, as quoted by KKR vibe, the Knight Riders have cleared that the 20-year-old is not up for sale. KKR are looking for a bright future in the right-handed batter and is likely to don bigger responsibilities in the coming years.

Big Blow To Rajasthan Royals' Hopes

The latest development is a shock for the Rajasthan Royals as landing Raghuvanshi seemed to be a crucial step for letting go of Samson to another team during this trade window.

At present, the doors to get Raghuvanshi out of KKR are closed, but there is no update whether RR has enquired about any other player, or would the 2022-finalists look for other teams to show interest in the star keeper-batter.

Talking about Angkrish Raghuvanshi, the 20-year-old had a remarkable IPL 2025, where he was the star with the bat and amassed 300 runs in 12 innings, averaging 33.3. The youngster also scored a solitary fifty-plus score.
