Big Bash League 2022-23 Final: Perth Scorchers vs Brisbane Heat | Fantasy Tips and Teams

The 12th edition of the Big Bash League is down to its summit clash. We have the two finalists in Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat. The two teams will be battling it out for the title at the Perth Stadium on 4th February, 2023. The match is scheduled to start from 1:45 PM IST. 

The Perth Scorchers have been impeccable in the their title-defending effort. In the group stage they were at the top of the points table with 11 wins from 14 matches. The Scorchers then faced the Sydney Sixers in the Qualifier 1 and won the match by seven wickets to make it straight into the finals. They will look to continue their brilliant form and win the summit clash and defend the title in the process. 

The Brisbane Heat on the other hand peaked at the right time. They struggled a bit in the group stage with six wins in 14 matches. But as they entered the play-off stages, the Heat have looked unstoppable. In the Eliminator, the Heat defeated the Sydney Thunder and knocked them out of the tournament. Progressing into the Knockout, the faced off against Melbourne Renegades. The Heat won the knockout by seven wickets and was due to face the Sydney Sixers in the Challenger T20. 

In the Challenger T20, the Heat bowled first and restricted the Sixers to 116 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. While chasing the target, they lost six wickets played till 18.2 overs to go past the opposition's score. Winning the match by four wickets they booked their berth in the finals of the tournament and will look to stretch the winning run and lift the trophy.
