Sydney Sixers are ready for their next home clash. They will be taking on Hobart Hurricanes at the Sydney Cricket Ground. This will be the 11th match of the tournament.

This will be the first time that these two teams face each other in the tournament. Before the live-action begins let us take a look at the important numbers that will play a role in deciding the fate of the match.

Current Form

Sydney Sixers

The Sixers have had a nightmarish start to their campaign. They have lost both of their matches and are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table. Their Net Run Rate is a negative 2.225.

In their last match, they had a face-off against the defending champions, Perth Scorchers. The Sixers were asked to chase down 156 runs in the match, but they could just manage 117 runs before getting bundled out. The Sixers will therefore be looking to get their campaign back on track within this match.

Hobart Hurricanes

The start of the BBL 12 campaign for the Hurricanes has been a rocky one. They managed to win one match but lost the other. Currently, they are the 5th team in the points table with a negative Net Run Rate of 0.750.

The Hurricanes had a close match against the Scorchers in their last encounter. While chasing 173 runs, the Hurricanes managed to reach a total of 164 runs and fell short by just 9 runs. This match will be important for them as they will try and win this and get their campaign up and running on a positive note.

Head to Head

The Sixers and Hurricanes have played each other 15 times in the history of the tournament so far. The balance is slightly shifted towards the Hurricanes and depending upon the current form, they will have the edge over the Sydney-based franchise.
