The India tour of Bangladesh has turned out to be a disappointment of the highest degree. The Men in Blue have been outperformed by Bangladesh at every junction. Even with senior players in tow. Both the ODIs turned out to be a close affair and the Bangla Tigers clinched the victory every time.

In the final ODI, Rohit Sharma has been ruled out following a webbing injury to his hand while fielding in the 2nd ODI and Abhimanyu Easwaran is likely to replace him as the captain.

Former Indian cricketers Venkatesh Prasad and Virender Sehwag have a lot to say about team India's performance at the bilateral series against the assumed weaker opposition.

Venkatesh Prasad slams India's approach

"India is innovating in so many fields across the world. But whn it comes to playing Limited overs cricket, our approach is a decade old. England after the 2015 WC first round exit took tough calls and turned around to become such an exciting team, India need to take tough calls.

And change approach drastically. We haven’t won a T20 WC since the IPL started & last 5 years have been poor in ODI’s apart from winning inconsequential bilateral. Haven’t learned from our mistakes for too long and far from being an exciting team in limited overs cricket. CHANGE."

Virender Sehwag also takes a dig

"India's performance is falling faster than Crypto. Need to shake up - wake up."
