In a light-hearted moment amidst the high-octane PSL match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, Babar Azam made Rizwan chase for the ball after initially running away with it in an absolutely hilarious moment.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are the heart of Pakistan's senior cricket team. However, owing to the recent tumultuous past, reports of an alleged rift between the duo and inside the Pakistan team in general intensified.

However, in the midst of a hectic international cricket schedule, Pakistan players got a break in PSL.

Meanwhile, during a recent PSL game between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan squashed rumors of an alleged rift with hilarious banter.

In the seventh over of Zalmi's innings, Babar Azam was toiling hard for a run when a throw missed Rizwan's gloves and tickled Babar's feet. As Rizwan stopped the ball with his shoes, Azam beat him and ran away with it towards the boundary fence. He stopped right before the rope and asked the wicketkeeper to come and get it from where he left off.

After Mohammad Rizwan's multiple requests, Babar handed the ball over to him, and the entire stadium burst into laughter.

Amid a grueling PSL schedule, these moments of friendly banter and comradeship embody sportsmanship between athletes. In this day and age when competition is cutthroat, such humorous banters between the two greatest of the game sets the right example for the younger generation to follow.

That being said, Babar's side, Peshawar Zalmi, completely outclassed Rizwan's Multan Sultans by posting a gigantic 204 runs on board in the first innings. Unfortunately, Rizwan couldn't help his side after getting dismissed on an unlucky runout.

Interestingly, in this PSL season, only Peshawar Zalmi has managed to hand Multan Sultans their lone defeat of the tournament. With Azam's bowling unit tightening the leash, another much-needed victory is on the cards for Zalmi.
