Mohammed Rizwan is one of the most consistent batters in world cricket and he has been in good form in PSL 2024 as well. He was batting well against Peshawar Zalmi as well in the 21st match of the season but a brain-fade moment led to a heartbreaking run out that left all Multan Sultans fans stunned.

Peshawar Zalmi posted 204 while batting first and Multan Sultans needed their skipper Rizwan to deliver big. He started off quite well and scored 32 in quick time with two fours and a six.

However, on the first delivery of the 8th over he lost his wicket while trying to steal a quick single. It was a back-of-a-length delivery, angling into off from Jamal. Rizwan dabbed it towards the left side of the pitch and sprinted for a single.

However, Jamal showed great presence of mind  and picked the ball quickly and threw a direct hit at the bowler's end which left Rizwan short of his crease even though he dived full-length to make his ground.

Rizwan threw his bat in air as he walked off with a frustrated look on his face. Multan Sultans lost their way after the wicket of their skipper as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals putting Babar Azam led Peshawar Zalmi in firm control of the game.
