[Watch] MS Dhoni Arrives In Chennai To Join CSK Training Ahead Of IPL 2024

MS Dhoni has arrived in Chennai to join the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) training camp for the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The legendary wicketkeeper-batsman recently attended Jamnagar to visit the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani, son of Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani.
Dhoni was spotted making his way outside the Chennai airport on March 5, i.e., roughly a couple of weeks prior to the launch of IPL 2024 opener.

MS Dhoni, who underwent a knee surgery last year, is set to prolong his cricketing career by another IPL season. The 42-year-old was retained by the CSK franchise back in November 2023 during the IPL 2024 player retention phase.
While the cricketer recently attended Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar with wife Sakshi, he has now arrived in Chennai to attend CSK’s pre-season training camp with teammates.

A number of MS Dhoni’s CSK teammates, including fast bowler Deepak Chahar, have already commenced their pre-season training camp in Chennai. According to a TNCA official, Chahar and several other domestic players like Simarjeet Singh, Mukesh Choudhary, Prashant Solanki, Rajvardhan Hangargekar and Ajay Mandal were among the first batch of cricketers to visit the city for the training camp.
MS Dhoni and co. will be commencing their title-defense this IPL 2024 season in the opening match of the tournament itself, as they are slated to face the RCB unit on March 22. The much-awaited contest will be staged at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
