Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav underwent a successful sports hernia surgery in Munich, Germany. The explosive middle-order batter confirmed the development on his social media account, stating that he is currently on a road to recovery and is looking forward to making his return to competitive cricket.
As per a report, Suryakumar is also slated to join the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru to undergo rehabilitation for a couple of weeks.

The Sri Lankan cricket team is set to tour Zimbabwe later this year to play a series of two ODIs and three T20I matches. Set to be played between August 29 and September 7, all five matches will be staged at the iconic Harare Sports Club in Harare.
Zimbabwe Cricket’s Managing Director Givemore Makoni expressed his delight in confirming the home series, and also described the impending fixtures against Sri Lanka as a dress rehearsal for the Zimbabwean team ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final.
Roston Chase Combats Starc, Hazlewood To Take WI Closer
Australian pacemen Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood wrecked West Indies top order earlier in the innings after the visitors folded up for just 180 in the series-opening Bridgetown Test.
