Pakistan's experienced batter Babar Azam registered another failure with the bat, as he was dismissed cheaply in the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. 

Babar, who entered the middle after the dismissal of Pakistan's Test captain Shan Masood, managed only 31 runs before being outfoxed by a lethal arm ball from Shakib Al Hasan. 

This was Babar's third consecutive failure in the Bangladesh series. Renowned for his flamboyant stroke play, the Lahore-born cricketer recorded a two-ball duck before being cleaned up by Nahid Rana for 22 runs in the first Test. 

Babar has been suffering from poor batting form in Test cricket. In fact, he hasn't scored a single half-century in his last 14 innings in the purest format. 

So, his fans were disappointed after Babar failed to convert his start into a significant knock once again. They took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to slam the batter for his prolonged rough patch.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh bowlers have once again given Pakistan a run for their money with a spirited performance. 

After being frustrated by the second wicket stand between Shan Masood and Saim Ayub, Bangladesh fought back remarkably, riding on magnificent spells from their bowlers. 

Mehidy Hasan Miraz triggered Pakistan's batting collapse with the crucial wickets of Masood and Ayub, while Taskin Ahmed castled Saud Shakeel with a ripper. After Babar lost his wicket, Rizwan and Khurram Shehzad followed him to the dugout. 

As of writing, Pakistan were 243 for seven, with Agha Salman batting alongside fast bowler Mohammad Ali.
