Lucknow Super Giants' premier batter Ayush Badoni unleashed his beast mode for South Delhi Superstarz during their ongoing encounter against North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League 2024.

Coming at three, Badoni, who is in sublime form, hammered a belligerent knock to build a solid foundation for a formidable total.

The stylish right-handed batter struck a scintillating fifty, studded with three boundaries and four sixes.

He took a particular liking for North Delhi's left-arm spinner Manan Bhardwaj, hitting him for three consecutive sixes in a single over.

The incident occurred during the sixth over of South Delhi's inning, when Badoni and Priyansh Arya had joined hands to steady the ship following Sarthak Ray's cheap dismissal.

North Delhi skipper Pranshu Vijayran's decision to bring Manan for an over backfired on his team, with Badoni putting the spinner under the pump.

Manan started his over with a full-length ball from around the wicket as Badoni stepped out to hit a glorious six over the long-on. As the spinner followed it up with a fuller ball slightly wide outside the off stump, Badoni swept it for another six through the square.

Manan pulled his length slightly back on the third delivery, but it couldn't change his fate as Badoni once again played a magnificent sweep shot to dispatch the ball over the square leg boundary for a maximum.

Batting first, North Delhi had a torrid start to their innings, losing Sarthak Ray off Siddhartha Solanki's bowling.

However, a blistering stand between Badoni and Priyansh Arya has ensured a mammoth total for them. Arya even emulated Yuvraj Singh, hitting six sixes in an over.

As of writing, they were 199 for one in 14 overs, with Arya and Badoni batting on 95* and 91*, respectively.
