Former India player, Harbhajan Singh has reacted to Gary Kirsten's recent statement about the division in the Pakistan dressing room following their lackluster outings in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, asking him to come back to India.

Kirsten who recently took over Pakistan's white ball coaching earlier this year has revealed his shock after seeing how divided the dressing room is, saying that he has never seen a dressing room so separated and how they are not united and play for themselves.

The off-spinner from India who was coached by Gary during his stint in 2008 to 2011 period came out on Twitter and asked the South African to not 'waste his time there [Pakistan]' and come to coach the Indian side.


Harbhajan suggest Kirsten to leave PAK, return to IND

The 56-year-old had taken over the reigns of Pakistan's ODI and T20I sides in late April while signing the two year deal. 

He toured with the team for the Ireland and England tour for 3 and 4 T20Is series respectively in May followed by the T20 World Cup in June. They won 4 and lost 5 matches under him while 2 where washed out.

Regarding the India job that Harbhajan mentioned, the recent reports suggest that Gautam Gambhir's appointment as the head coach after Rahul Dravid's tenure is matter of time as BCCI seeks a new head coach.
