The IPL has introduced many stars to Indian cricket each year, and Harshit Rana is one of them. After being picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a replacement player for Rasikh Dar in 2022 for 20 lacs, Harshit Rana developed quickly and became a crucial factor in KKR's title win in 2024.

Harshit Rana shared his thoughts on why Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has been unable to win an Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy during a conversation on Subhankar Mishra's YouTube channel.

RCB has been striving for an IPL title since the league's inception but has never succeeded. According to Harshit, RCB's failure to clinch the title is due to a lack of luck. "Sir, unki kismat kharab hain," Harshit told Subhankar Mishra.

RCB dramatically reached the IPL playoffs after making a great comeback but couldn't win the eliminator game against Rajasthan.

Harshit Rana's IPL 2024

KKR won the IPL 2024, with Harshit Rana playing a crucial role as their second-highest wicket-taker, claiming 19 wickets in 13 matches. However, he gained more fame for his flying kiss celebration against SRH during the league stage.

Rana celebrated Mayank Agarwal's wicket with a flying kiss, which eventually landed him in trouble, costing him 60 percent of his match fee. He refrained from repeating the celebration and later mentioned that it wasn't planned.

After defeating SRH in the final KKR co-owner Shahrukh Khan celebrated the title win with the same flying kiss celebration.

Harshit Rana hasn't debuted for India yet, but he is one of the players expected to make his debut soon.
