Since stepping into the IPL in 2022, Gujarat Titans have made it clear they are not here to play around. They have already bagged a title, made back-to-back finals and built a reputation for being calm, confident and absolutely ruthless when they get going.

But what really makes GT stand out is how they chase. They don’t do last-over thrillers too often. When the target is in sight, they go all guns blazing and wrap things up way before time.

So here’s a look at the top 4 biggest wins in terms of ball by Gujarat Titans in IPL.

4. GT vs KKR – 13 Balls To Spare – Eden Gardens, 2023

This was a sweet payback moment for GT after Rinku Singh’s last-over heroics earlier in the season. KKR posted 179/7, thanks to Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s explosive 81, but once GT walked out to chase, it was like watching a different game.

Vijay Shankar came out swinging like he had a point to prove, smashing 51 off just 24 balls. David Miller joined the party with a breezy 32*, and GT wrapped things up in 17.5 overs. They chased 180 like it was a walk in the park: cool, calm and clinical.

3. GT vs RCB – 13 Balls To Spare – Bengaluru, 2025

Bengaluru, under lights and the crowd buzzing but the Titans weren’t fazed. RCB, riding on Liam Livingstone’s 54 and Tim David’s quickfire 32, posted 169/8. But once Jos Buttler got going, it was lights out for RCB.

The Englishman cracked a 73* off just 39 balls. Sherfane Rutherford gave him company, smashing 30* off 18. With 13 balls still in the bank, GT coasted home and left the Chinnaswamy crowd stunned.

2. GT vs SRH – 20 Balls To Spare – Hyderabad, 2025

This one was all about the bowlers. Mohammed Siraj rolled back the years with a 4-wicket haul, rattling SRH’s top order and choking the middle overs. Chasing 153, GT lost Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler early but Washington Sundar playing the floater role smacked 49 off 29.

Post Sundar’s dismissal, once Shubman Gill and Rutherford joined the party, it was game over. They knocked off the target in just 16.4 overs. 20 balls to spare and GT didn’t even break a sweat.

1. GT vs RR – 37 Balls To Spare – Jaipur, 2023

Now this this was a proper hammering. Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for a mere 118, thanks to Rashid Khan’s 3/14 masterclass. The chase? GT made it look like a cakewalk. Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill set the tone, and then came Hardik Pandya, who absolutely mauled the bowling with a 15-ball 39.

GT reached the target in just 13.5 overs. That is 37 balls left unused, more than 6 overs still sitting there. It was Rajasthan’s fortress but GT walked in, bossed the show and left without a scratch to secure a thumping victory.
