Washington Sundar is considered one of the best bowling all-rounders in Indian cricketing scene at present. However, in the ongoing game in IPL 2025 between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad, he is showing his batting abilities.

Sundar's Bowling Was Not Used By The Gujarat Titans

Notably, the Gujarat Titans are currently playing agianst the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The Titans included Washington Sundar in the team.

When the name of Sundar was announced, the viewers and the spectators expected that he will be a prime weapon against the left-hand dominated top order of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, things panned out pretty differently, Sundar did not bowl a single over in the first innings of the game.

Washington Sundar Reminds Fan Oh His Vintage Six Against Cummins

In the chase of 153, the Titans lost a couple of wickets early. At this juncture, Washington Sundar was sent to bat. Sundar looked in a prime touch and provided the momentum to the progression during the final over of the powerplay.

He slammed a brilliant six against the Indian pacer Simarjeet Singh. The Indian pacer bowled a good length delivery at the middle and leg stump line. Sundar shuffles across the stumps and lofted the ball over the fine leg fence for a maximum.

The shot by Sundar reminded the fans of a shot the Indian all-rounder played against Pat Cummins during the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2021.
