Lord’s based side London Spirit’s head coach Shane Warn has reportedly tested positive for the Covid-19 and has been isolating since Sunday morning. His Lateral Flow test gave a positive result whilk e he is yet to receive the results of the PCR test.

Another unnamed person, part of the management team has also tested positive along with Warne. However, the game against Southern Brave scheduled for Sunday evening at Lord’s would still go on as none of the playing squad members has tested positive.

This is the second instance where a coach in The Hundred has tested positive for Covid-19 as prior to that, Trent Rockets coach Andy Flower was also sent into isolation after he tested positive for the virus. Steven Mullaney of the Rockets is the only player so far who has been sent into isolation as he was one of the close contacts of Flower.

This would be the fourth game for Spirit and they are still searching for that first win in The Hundred.
