Mumbai Indians (MI), the five-time champions came into the 69th game of IPL 2023 against SRH with only a win in their mind. They have managed to achieve that target as they chased down 201 with two overs to spare. However, they still need RCB to lose their game against GT to qualify for the playoffs and all MI fans would be pretty anxious about the result of the RCB-GT game.

Talking after the match, Sky touched upon various things and started off by saying that Green deserved his century. He added that they knew that if they can restrict SRH to 200-odd, they can chase down the total and they always had a positive mindset.

"I think he [Cameron Green] deserved the hundred clearly. It was an important game. We didn't have anything for net run-rate then and I told him to go and get your hundred, it will be a special moment. And even after the 16 overs, we knew that if we can curtail them for 200 odd, we can get the total. The mindset was always positive, go out there, enjoy, and play your best,"

The 360-degree right-handed batter said that he just tries to focus on the things he can control and talked about his new innovative shot that he plays over third man. He said that he practised that shot for a long time and he can play that properly now. SKY signed off by saying that it would have been better to qualify by now but they have learnt a lot from this IPL season.

"Not really, when I was sitting in my room, what has happened suddenly? I was just focusing on things that were in my control and just got that. I think I have played that shot in my mind for more than 100-150 times and I can play it well now. Very happy with the way the season had gone. It would have been good if we could have qualified by now. But it's good we are learning from it."

Mumbai Indians last qualified for the playoffs in the 2020 season and eventually lifted their fifth IPL title.
