DC played their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Delhi, where the hosts beat Faf du Plessis's side convincingly by seven wickets.
The Royal Challengers won the toss and opted to bat first. Virat Kohli struck 55, while skipper Faf amassed 45. Mahipal Lomror smashed his maiden IPL fifty (54* off 29) as the visitors posted 181/4 in 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh was the pick of the DC bowlers for his spell of 2/21 (3).
In reply, Captain Warner got out for 22 while Marsh scored 26. Phil Salt made a mockery of the target as he hammered 87 off just 45 with eight fours and six maximums.
