The IPL 2023 is up and running and it is Delhi Capitals who will go up against Gujarat Titans in game number 7 at the Arun Jaitely Stadium, Delhi. This is the first home game for David Warner and his boys and they would be looking to get back to winning ways after suffering a heavy loss in their opening game.

David Warner and Prithvi Shaw are one of the most dynamic opening pairs in the IPL and made a good start in the first game as well. They both have the ability to take the bowling on and we can expect Delhi to stick to their tried and tested opening combination for this game.

The explosive batter is a very crucial player for DC. He has been in tremendous form in recent times in international cricket and we can expect him to go big in this game as well. The fact that he got out on a golden duck in the first game would make him more hungry to contribute and that can be a dangerous thing for the opposition. He can deliver some crucial overs too and that makes him a marquee player for Delhi Capitals.
Rilee Rossouw
Rossouw is another fantastic T20 player in the Delhi unit. He too has played some tremendous knocks in recent times and was looking good in the last game as well with a score of 30 off 20. He is a match-winner on his day and DC would be hoping that the dashing left-hander gets into his groove against GT.
Sarfaraz Khan
Sarfaraz has been given wicketkeeping duties in the absence of Rishabh Pant this season. He is a capable batter as well and has scored tons of runs in domestic cricket. He would be looking to make the most of this opportunity and show his class on the big stage.
Rovman Powell
The current West Indies T20 captain has been in stellar form in recent times. He played some impactful knocks in the last season as well and DC would be banking on him to deliver those finishing touches. He can chip in with some crucial overs as he has done for Windies in recent past and can be a big player for DC this season.

Axar Patel is the designated all-rounder of DC. He is a quality bowler and can bowl in any period of the game while his batting has also come a long way in last year or so. He picked a wicket and scored 16 runs in the first game and will be a big asset for DC in this whole season with his all-round skills.

The left-arm wrist spinner was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi last season and carried that form into international scene as well. He has the ability to run through the batting line-ups and will be a an important player for DC in the middle overs.
Chetan Sakariya
The left-arm pacer was expensive in the last game but we can expect DC to back him. He has done quite well previously in the IPL has good varieties with slower one, bouncers and yorkers too. DC would be hoping that the pacer bounces back in style in the upcoming game.
Khaleel Ahmed
Khaleel Ahmed is a genuine wicket-taker and has the ability to hurry the batters with his skiddy action. He picked two crucial wickets in the last game and would be a big player for DC at the death.
Mukesh Kumar
The right-arm pacer made his debut in the last game and impressed one and all with both new ball and at the death. He went wicketless but showed why he is rated so highly and expect to get into the wicket-column in the game against GT.
